AT&T

AT&T Cloudrunner

Overview

Simplify organization-wide sales processes by leveraging out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities and industry leading practices. This B2B full Salesforce implementation, known as Cloudrunner, focused on the customer, partner, and sales experience.

My efforts helped increase seller efficiency and return 22 minutes per day. I helped AT&T save
$1.6 billion in over 5 years.

I worked in an agile environment directly with AT&T to solve complex problems on the Salesforce Platform by executing and providing UX design direction. I communicated ideas through storytelling and rapid prototyping methods, ranging from wireframes to establishing a design system all while collaborating with business architects, technical architects and developers on UX solutions.

Discovery

During the Discovery Phase, we worked with AT&T to assess sales, marketing, and service business areas in order to recommend a future state and roadmap for our desired outcomes. The Discovery Phase focused on four areas to drive success towards AT&T’s strategic transformation vision.

1. Transformation program office
2. Sales tool simplification
3. Technology and Enterprise Architecture
4. User Experience and Functionality

  • Gather experience insights from system users to understand the current behaviors, context, pain points and needs, and develop user personas.

  • Define personas, customer journeys and future state capability maps to define an ideal future-state experience for end-users.

  • Create high-level functional requirements for future-state and prioritize by user value, business value and complexity/level of effort.

My focus area throughout this project was the overall User Experience and functionality. The UX Design team worked with business and technical architects to groom features and user stories. For this six step process, I owned Check Availability and Terms & Conditions.

Design System

The complex nature of this project necessitated more than 50 screens. To maintain consistency and ensure efficient design to development handover, my team and I established an atomic design system to achieve efficiency and consistency when building digital products. AT&T Cloudrunner uses a combination of SLDS (Salesforce Lightning Design System) components and custom components inside Figma to create product wireframes.

I helped bring transparency and visibility to the entire project team and leaders by posting frequently in our design Slack channel on available components and implementing a way for designers to request desired components.
